we had a really great memorial day weekend. i know it was just what i needed. lots of jsut hanging out - our little family of three. spent a lot of time at the pool and spent a lot of time together. was perfect.
penelope did get a little break from us o saturday night though. gma and pawpaw d, along with aunt lizzie, came over to bring up to the st. francis school picnic for a little bit. she LOVED it. rode several rides, went "fishing" and overall had a blast. in fact she was still talking about it last night. there was an old caroseul horse on the wall at the restaurant and she started yelling "giddy up horsy, giddy up!" then - "i rode him with pawpaw." the memory on this kid is amazing. i dont even remember what i did saturday. (and before you ask - i wasn't even drinking!)
