playdate with marie!

penny and char had a play date with marie a couple weeks ago - god they are adorable.

 

love watching little girls play together.  there really might not be anything cuter.  or sassier for that matter....

charlotte - 7 months

she is growing faster than i can blog!!

 

some things about my 7 month old girl!

 

 

* finally getting to play outside!

 

 

 

 

*loves her toys!

 

 

 

*sits unassisted (mostly)

 

 

 

 

*eats!  loves it all - some favs are yogurt, peaches and puffs.  refuses to feed herself and yells and grunts if you don't do it fast enough

 

 

 

 

*loves her sister - she is more and more interested in penners - they play together more lately

 

 

 

*she poops out of her clothes daily. (no photos of this - too gross)

 

 

 

*rolls from tummy to back (finally!!)

 

 

 

*has 4th ear infection (1 away from tubes)

 

 

 

 

 

*still talks a ton - mainly "dada" but starting to say "mama" and "baba" and "hi"

 

*she is perfect :) love this pretty girl.  she is still as happy as can be and just an awesome little angel.  love you baby girl!

 

 



for the love of dinosaurs

penelope has been into dinosaurs for a little over a year now.  not sure how it started but she quickly became obsessed.  says she is going to be a paleontologist and char too, so they will be the paleontologist sisters :)

 

she plays with them non stop, makes beds for them out of jewelry cases, uses easter eggs for dinosaur eggs that they "hatch" out of.  she sets them up in families with mommies, daddies and babies.

 

she has watched land before time 410 times (not kidding).

 

she reads books about them and rents them from the library.

 

she knows the names of about 10. both their real name and their land before time name.

 

aka - long neck/brachiosaurus; sharp tooth/t rex

 

her favorites are t rex and long necks and she got tons of dinos for xmas. 

 

she has asked for a dino themed bday party this year.

 

I've taken a few photos of her with her dinos over the last few months.  not sure how long this will last but it's pretty adorable :)

recently she threw a party for her dino friends.

 

this involved setting up ALL the dinosaurs.  addressing and mailing invites, making a cake, setting up presents, singing, and eating the cake.  she kept telling me "man, it's such hard work to throw a party".  maybe I should introduce her to pinterest???

 

 





out and about

as char gets older and the weather gets nicer its be awesome to get out with the girls.  little bits likes high chairs and strollers and penny just loves to get out.

 

no real theme here - just out with my ladies :)
