well, little miss penelope is almost 18 months and she is learning sooo much
it is actaully getting really amazing the huge jump in laguage she has just taken. she talks all the time. i mean ALL THE TIME. and every day there are actually more and more words that we understand!
she still always talks bout and asks for "gabba gabba" and now she knows how to say "more" or "again" when she wants more episodes or to watch the show again.
she is learning her name - she can point to herself and say penelope or penny - but words are still not ver clear. the "p"s usually come out as "m" or "b" sounds..but its super sweet!
she is trying to count but is really only interested in the number 2. you say one. she says two. than she's done. but she doesn know how to hold up 2 fingers when she says two...
also getting really really good at anima sounds. she can do a cow "moo" a monkey "who who, hehe" accompainced by scratching her little arms, a dog "ruff ruff" on all fours, a lion "rrroooaarr" with her "claws" out, and a few others... monkey is her favorite though.
ans while she can't say her colors she is really good at matching them up. any stackin toy that is color coded she is agreat at. somtimes she'll put a green tile on a red peg then look at it and say "no nono" then move it to the right one.
and speaking of "no" that word is used a LOT along with "my" or "mine"
alos lots of silly cheese faces. she loves to say "cheese" for the camera and she loves to pretend.
her favorite is to pretend sleep. she makes a "shh" and make snoring sound.. but always forgets to clsoe her eyes :)
alos big into smelling things, telling me things are hot and picking uip "yuck yuck" (trash) offf the ground to throw away.
i can't believe all the changes and learning explosions lately - can't wait for what's next (but also want it to slow down a little...)
