i can't even believe my little girl just had her second birthday party... she's not really 2 until june 3rd, but her mommy happens to be turning 30 on june 2nd and since there will be a party, not sure would have been in the right "mood" to host a party after her 30th bday :)
so... penny got to celebrate a little early :) But not before a litle pre-partying at the park. mommy had a plan to wear her out early, so i had plenty of time during her nap to get party ready... believe it our not, my plan actually worked :)
she was soo excited for her party.. kept talking about chocolate cake, presents, and her bouncy house. she also told everyone, it's PENNY"S party and she's 2! love this girl :)
and we have to give a shout out to gma d in here as well - she made the adorable dress my little girl is wearing :)
it was CHAOS before the party... Kris and I had been talking about wanting to build a deck and he gt to work with uncle tim on monday and finished about 1 hour before party time... so it was a bit nuts to say the least.
overall it was an excellent party - penny really enjoyed all the kids, all the kids enjoyed the bouncy house (thanks jeff and christa) and mommy and daddy enjoyed a nice day/evening with family
and friends... hard to believe she's almost 2... i really can't even take it...
actually makes me sad.. so while we enjoyed celebrating her 2nd bday this weekend... i'm gonna hold on tight to my 1 year old for exactly 2 more weeks...

since the firth thing you said this morning was "everbody come back soon" i'm guessing it was :)
