breakfast with santa - 2013

it was penny's fourth time at bfast with santa and char's 1st.  both girls had a blast!!!!

penelope has been daddy's little helper this year with raking the insane amount of leaves we have!

 

she ha her own rake and works hard raking then helps kris put it all on a tarp and carry the tarp into the back woods.

 

girl gets it done.

2 funny recent penny stories:

a couple nights ago she woke up in tears at 3am because she "lost my smell".  her nose was stuffed up and she kept sniffing and telling kris "see, i lost my smell" :)

at kohls this week she randomly says: "mom you are always buying me presents like a new blanket. it's my turn to by you one.  is belle your favorite princess i want to buy you this blanket"

then she grabs my hand, walks me back three aisles and shows me the princess belle blanket she wants to get me

looks up at me and asks: "is it on sale? can we buy it"

I am now the proud new owner of a belle princess blanket displayed on my bed (which she made for me)

love her :)

Charlotte 4 months!

i feel like I just posted three months, but little bits is four months on Friday - crazy!

 

had her check up today - stats:

 

head: 86%

height: 26 inches/959%

weight: 14lb 8oz/59%

 

other than her eczema and a slightly flat head she is doing great!

 

she  is a big girl, a happy girl and a healthy girl!  we get to start eating cereal now!

 

other char stats:

 

• no more swaddles
• sleeps in her big girl bed
• sucks on two fingers (right hand only) to calm herself and fall asleep
• sleeps through the night (about 95% of time) 8pm - 7am
• happy and giggly baby
• smile bombs everyone she sees
• talks a lot! loves talking to the mirror
• grabbing at toys/loves her hands
• shows off her dimples!
• eats 6oz bottles 5 times a day - never wastes food!
• on special food - nutramigen for allergies :(

overall she is an angel baby - will entertain herself well, loves to smile and just a good little girl!

more thanksgiving!

we celebrated thanksgiving this year with mommy's side on the Saturday before and daddy's side the thursday of thanksgiving.

 

was really nice to only go one place each day and let the kiddos relax, have fun and enjoy some cousin time.

 

 

charlotte and baby jace got to hang out for the first time and Penelope and logan had a blast

 

love seeing all the little kiddos together!!

 

we are looking forward to xmas even more than ever!
