my girls
penny and char get closer and closer (and fight more and more) the older they get.
I love watching them play together, tease each other, make each other laugh and even fight.
charlotte is a monster but LOVES penny. and penny is sooo patient with her little sister.
plus -they look pretty darn cute together :)

we have a walker!!
charlotte is a bit like her big sister... is very strong willed and does everything on her own time!
little miss has decided she wants to walk.
so at 15 months we officially have a walker!! she is crazy. and dangerous. into everything. but so very very proud of herself :)
you'd be proud too if you managed to be upright and supporting that big belly :)

Soccer Stud
I'm not even going to address how behind I am on blogging and photos in general. these kiddos have been keeping us BUSY and quite frankly when they go to bed I want to be lazy, drink wine and watch blacklist - so photo related things SUFFER.
but - I can't ignore the tons of pictures I have of my little soccer star :) Penelope played her first outdoor soccer season and did great! was a little nervewrcking for her and she tended to run AROUND the ball rather than TOWARD the ball but she played hard, ran the whole time, listened to her coach (mostly) and had fun.
and she sure looked the part :)
I only wish I had gotten her first goal on film... and I use "goal" loosely... the ref had blown the whistle but approx. 3 kids didn't realize and kept playing. and penny had the ball. ran with it. and scored :) she was pretty pumped!
but she was most excited about the team trophy at the end (and the donut surprise from uncle trent).
the whole family showed up for various games - she had quite the cheering section... with tricking gma h and paw paw d into giving her money for "touches" (any time she made ball contact) penny earned a pretty penny this round of soccer as well.
charlotte took advantage of the frequent fans at the games to get held by grandparents - so both kids ended up pretty happy with our first time playing a "team" sport!
now on to indoor!
