We were super busy all during the holidays and a couple of nights I think penelope was just happy to be home and alone!!!

here is a video of some big baby belly laughs (that she saved all during xmas just for mommy and daddy)

One of our favorite holiday presents was penelope's big girl ducky bathtub from uncle kyle and aunt MB. how frekaing cute is she in it? seriously adorable... she loves bathtime now that she is old enough to sit up and enjoy it!

this one of penelope being mean ot her big brother gatsby... he loves her sooo much that generally he'll take any attention he can get from her - good or bad. but lately penelope has learned to scream and yell for him. it's her gatsby yell. we know she wants him if she does it. this time though - we brougth her to him and she would laugh in his face. just plain cruel. gatsby kept running away but we kept following...

i didnt take too many videos on xmas - i have plenty of photos but less video... here is one cute one i got of her laughing with her uncle trent on xmas am...

penelope and lily finally got together for another playdate over mommy's xmas break - and it was awesome!!! these two are so much older and more aware than they were last time - probably a good 3 months ago. they can both sit and play and are obsessed with each other's hands.. it's the cutest thing.. i couldnt pick which were my favorites, so there are a ton of pictures... these two are going to have so much fun playing together as they grow up! i love it!

we did one more christmas party on the day after christmas to celebrate with lisa and kevin and uncle jeff and aunt christa.... penelope, however, was struggling a bit... most of the pictures are from before we got over to gma and gpa d's as penelope was a bit cranky once we were tehre. i think the holidays had taken their toll on her and she really just wanted NOTHING to do with it anymore...

however, the second we walked into the door that evening... she was happy as can be... laughing sort of like a crazy person... that's a seperate post though...

we did put penelope in the cutest outfit ever though for her last christmas celebration... she got SUPER PENN onesie from TJ and Sammy and she looks sooooooo cute in it...

penelope had an amazing christmas day and got soo many awesome presents from everyone.

she did pretty well too... she managed to keep a pretty good attitude all day, a coule small naps and overall was a really good girl and did a great job handling the chaos..

we did more celebrating on the day after xmas... and that was a different story...

christmas morning with mommy and daddy

mommy and daddy were able to have some one on one penelope time on celebrate her first christmas on christmas morning.. we slept in (til 7!) then gave penelope her first ever presents from santa!

big girl chair from crate and barrel, first cabbage patch doll (kailin april), counting christmas book, and wooden puzzle.

gpa d saved mommy's pjs from her first christmas and i put them on penelope that morning! looks pretty good after 28 years! since penelope and mommy's bdays are only 1 day apart - the sizes all match up perfectly!!! gma was pretty excited to see penelope in these pjs :)

christmas with gma and gpa h

we celebrated christmas with gma and gpa h on 12/19... was soo much fun... penelope got a ton of awesome presents for uncle kyle, aunt mb, aunt kori and grandma and grandpa!

we had a few crabby moments - which was too be expected after long weekend... but overall this little lady has handled christmas parties like a champ..

snow leopard adoption from aunt kori.. this one is pretty cool. aunt kori adopted a snow leopard in penelope's name from the st. louis zoo.. penelope got a cool shirt decal, adoption papers a beanie baby snow leopard and can visit her adoptee at the zoo this summer!
