i'm playing catch up ... so you are getting a 2fer here. last weekend penelope's uncle jeff and aunt christa came over to give her an early bday present.. A BOUNCY HOUSE! Penelope knew what it was right away and had a blast. we set it up in the basement the first night and have played with it outside several times since.. shes' in love -a nd we can't say thank you enough.. something about playing in that bouncy house that leads to a GOOD night sleep and a LATE sleep in am - 8am every single time!

it's been funny to watch her in it as she gets more used to it... was super timid at first and then as of yesterday at her bday party (more to come on that) she was hilarious! LOVED it. couldnt get enough and just threw herself all around.

2nd post is mothers day... we had a lovely mothers day. one saturday we went to brunch and target - on the way in penny said "mommy loves target" smart girl. sunday we hosted my mom and family for brunch then went to gma l's for daddy's side. overall it was a great mothers day spent with awesome people. my little girl (with some help from her daddy) bought me a massage and facial :) not too shabby :)
