Kris has been super busy this past week building our new deck addition and trying to get it all done in time for penelope's 2nd birthday party. we have to give a big shout out to uncle tim for all his help - he did such an amazing job and in record time... i'm still cameraless and relying on my iphone so these are not the best pics.. but it's all i have for now...
how great does it look?
soo.. how does one get a deck done that quickly before a party? you employ the amazing help of an almost 2 year old. on saturday penelope decided she wanted in on the fun. she ran for her tool box and kept saying "i help daddy". she helped him hammer inside, "measure" and "cut" wood oustide. then of course did some serious wood stacking to help him "keen up".
i dont know how they woudl have done it without her :)
