penny and mommy have new neighbor friends!! now for those of you who know me - this has been dream... have an awesome neighbor friend to hang out with that has a little one penny's age.. i picture the mom's drinking wine while the kids runs around, wear each other out, and then take amazing naps.
and it happened :) we met angie and eric and their little girl peyton shortly after we moved in and realized we had a mutual friend. they had a new baby in the fall, then with holidy craziness we didnt see them again for a few months. Right arond february, our mutual friends came over and we invited angie, eric and petyon to join us!
peyton and penny have been getting along great! we've been trying to get them together to play a few times a week just hanging out at the house or at a park. they have done the subdivision easter egg hunt together, are on the same soccer team, just signed up for swimming, and most recently had a pool play date last weekend at our house. might as well take advantage of the 90 degree weather. nothing makes a toddler more exhausted than sunshine and water - add a fun friend and wine for the mommies and it was a nice day for all!
