i think this was the first holiday that penelope was truly excited about.. we've been talking about easter for a few weeks now and have even done a few hunts. ever since the first hunt penelope has been asking about the easter bunny, eeaster eggs, and chocolate.
for the last 2 weeks we heard these comments about 30 times a day:
"easter bunny coming soon!"
"easter bunny presents"
"easter bunny hid eggs"
"eggs wtih CHOCOLATE"
so needless to say she was PUMPED for the actual easter day to get here!
and penny's family did not disappoint - it looked more like christmas than easter in our house last night... but penny was so excited for all off it! she got to do some easter egg hunts, get fun baskets and toys from her grandparents and aunts and uncles and overall just have a great day playing with her new stuff, blowing bubbles, painting toenails and running around :)
peneloep is starting to realize that famiy functions are amazing while she is the only little person.. there are never less than 10 adults around to play with her!!!
