Charlotte 1 Year

We had to get some pictures of ms charlotte with her amazing 1 year sign aunt kori made.  for 6:45 am impromptu photo shoot - i'm pretty  happy with these :)

 

charlotte - you are a perfect and beautiful little girl. your smile lights up your face and the room, your blues eyes are full of laughter and your curls are perfection.  you are the sweetest little girl who gives hugs and kisses, loves her daddy, finds her big sister hilarious and makes mommy so proud every day.  you are on your own little timeline for doing things and every accomplishment/milestone makes us that much more proud.  we love everything about you baby girl.

 

you talk up a storm, love your ducks, hate getting out of the bathtub, will eat anything in sight and will clap for just about anything :)

charlotte grey is one!!!!

We had char's bday party a week ago and she had a blast!  she has a lot of "help" from penny and her friends with her cake and presents :)  instead of gifts for char we collected donations for stray rescue - still need to take the girls to drop them off but we got a ton of donations!!!  the party was a hit, char looked adorable, devoured her (egg free) cake and went to bed at 7 and immediately passed out :)

we have been having another great summer with the neighborhood friends.  I hope penny and char realize how lucky they are to have such fun friends up the street!

Vacation!

we went to tablerock lake on vacation with claire, genevieve, and viv.  the girls all had a great time at the house, on the lake and at silver dollar city! penny didn't want to ride rides and char had a little sunscreen allergy issue but the trip was the perfect long weekend!

charlotte - 11 months

only a few more weeks until my baby turns 1.  so weird this time around. I want to keep her small forever.  I know she's my last baby and while I love watching her grow it's a little painful to know that she is getting bigger and bigger and wanting to spend less time in my arms.

but for now, I'm going to love the cuddles I still get, her baby chatter, her drooly little kisses, and those chubby baby legs :)

char has been pretty busy this month!!!

*she scoots all over on her butt - it's so cute. no hands,  just booty :)

* Eating almost all real food and drinking out of sippy cups - we are starting the milk cross over. loves hot dogs, cream cheese, veggies, blueberries and all cheese

*has a few favorite toys - she carries around these 2 little ducks and balls.  she says "duck" and loves to show her favorite toys.  she has been taking them to bed lately :)

*getting closer to crawling. up on hands and knees, rocks and can move her kness forward - just hasn't figured out the hands yet.

*is loud! yells all the time - dadada - and loves singing - especially "itsy bitsy spider"

*playing more with penny - loves little people castle - especially tiana

*pulls up on knees - getting nosy and more and more mobile!

*had her first pigtails :)

*love hats!

we love you so much charlotte grey!!!  you are the best baby - excellent eater, sleeps well, always happy, just good natured as they come.  you are obsessed with her sister and can't to be able to keep up with her!!! love you so much sweetie - can't believe you are almost one!!!!
