Penelope Dinosaur Bowling Party - Age 4

penelope is 4!!!

four. my baby is now four years old. for some reason that sounds so much older than three. so much more like a "kid" she has had quite the year being three. big kid class at preschool, became a big sister, went to Disney land, first time on a big kid bike, lots of drama, lots of fun, lots of hugs, lots of screams - lots of being my crazy penny,.

mommy and daddy love you and are so proud of you. you are incredibly difficult, wildly smart, amazingly funny with insane comic timing, stubborn as can be, so sweet and crazy emotional, and perfectly amazing. we love every part of that HUGE personality of yours Penelope Anne. and WE love watching the little person you are becoming. you love your family, you love your friends and you love your little sister charlotte with all your heart.

every day is an adventure with you.. and no matter how crazy you drive us you make us laugh multiple times a day.

can't wait (and I'm a little scared) to see what four brings :)

charotte - 10 months!

somehow my little girl is already ten months. crazy to believ that in just 2 months we will be planning her bday!

charlotte highlights this month

egg allergy confirmed :( no egg products of any kind for her. this means pasta, egg, baked goods, ice cream, mayo, salad dressing, etc. time to look for any applesauce bday cake
starting to rock onn her hands and knees
talking more - LOUD, more noises, etc
pivots in circles from her booty :)
nervous lately - lots of stranger danger, doesn't like loud noises "hides" from people (buries head in mom or dad and refuses to look up
swimming in big pool for first time - LOVED it

still beautiful and sweet and perfect as ever :)

penny's school had their end of year program in may - crazy to believe that next year at this time it will be her preschool graduation!!! I'm going to lose it when she wears that little cap and gown :)

this year she did great singing her song - the kid loves the stage and any chance for some dedicated grandparent attention :)

Field Trip-Faust Park

I chaperoned Penny's field to faust park last minute - was so much fun to watch her interact (mainly with the boys of course) with the kiddos in her class.

she loves them all - but she has a soft spot for conner :) thy pose like boyfriend and girlfriend. I already put a warning out for the uncles - time to start scaring those little boys :)
