TOO OLD

she is getting too old...

stop it right now Penelope Anne.

uncle tony/penny date - ice skating

last weekend penny and uncle tony went on a their first date - ice skating!

she had a blast!!

I think uncle tony is still tired from it :)  this child is a ball of nonstop energy (and chatter).

thanks uncle tony!! she keeps asking when you can go again!!!

charlotte 6 months!!

charlotte turned six months on February 6th - but since she welcomed her half birthday with the stomach flu, double ear infection and yucky eye infection (all at the same time) I'm a bit late with this post.

all about my big 6 month old!

  • eating big girl food!  loves peaches
  • belly laughs at penny
  • sits with assistance
  • loves her jumperoo
  • doesn't like to lay/play on her back
  • fake coughs
  • says "dadada"
  • packed away all 0-6 month clothes, baby bathtub and playmat :(

charlotte you are a true pleasure beautiful girl and mommy and daddy love you so much. you have such personality and are already showing your stubborn streak (just like your big sis... and some would say mommy). But you are the happiest little angel who smiles easily, laughs often and has the sweetest disposition.

i can't believe this little angel is already 6 months old!!

slow down baby girl!!!

mommy and daddy love you :)

sister love - iphone pics

as char gets older i'm really enjoying watching the girls play and grow together.  Penelope loves charlotte and calls her "bubby" (which weirdly is the same name we called my little brother trent when we were growing up).

charlotte is obsessed with Penelope.  no one can make her laugh, smile, calm down when she is upset, the  way her sister can.

and it's pretty awesome. some of these are old but love these two together :)

my little builder

penelope LOVES building and has been SUPER in to tools lately.  she got some new ones from uncle tony for xmas and daddy has been letting her use his as well.

i love that she takes a break from the dolls and picks up the power tools!

(even if she wears a princess dress while doing it)

what we've been up to - iphone photo dump

not sure what happened this year but 2014 has been insane... i'm a terrible blogger who has only posted any pictures when I'm on travel because i'm just not able to find the time at home.

we have a rarely seen free weekend so finally on sunday afternoon I'm taking a little advantage and going to try and catch up - and get over my blog guilt.

first up - a HUGE iphone dump from the last months - just going to call this one..

:)

I DARE YOU TO WATCH THIS AND NOT SMILE.

Charlotte loves her some Penny. She goes back and forth between thinking penny is hilarious and being scared shitless of her.

it's awesome.

i've watched this like fifty times.

Penny's First "half" over

penny had her first sleepover a couple weeks ago for her one of her best friends bdays.

we did a "half-over" instead of a full blown sleepover. all the neighborhood moms agreed 5 is the age they can do sleepovers - so with penny and millie both four and penny 3 we did the half version.

penny was sooo excited about it for weeks.  she dressed up for the part and then we went to the store beforehand to bring balloons for all the girls - she told the florist all about the halfover that night, how excited she was, how it was her best friends bday, and was generally just pumped.

when we got to paytons the party started!  All the little girls were chatty little cathys - telling stories, talking about theiir special night.  They played games, ate pizza, had ice cream, gave presents then all changed into matching PJs that paytons mom bought- the night was a hit!  the girls had a blast playing with their friends, putting on fashion shows then watching movies in their jammies.

we came home at 10pm to only minimal tears - once one of the moms gets brave enough we will do this for real :)

pics below-apologies again, they are all iphone (dont yell at me darci).

all ready for her party!
