Welcome Charlotte Grey!!!

On August 6, 2013 at 10:56 am, a little 7lb 6oz and 20 inch long baby girl made her way into our lives.

 

she is perfection.

last day as a family of three

before baby charlotte's arrival, kris, penny and I had one last special day as a family of three.

we took Penelope to the science center where we played for a few hours and ended there building a dino build a bear.  penny firmly believes she is "almost a paleontologist" and that she will make the long necks come back because they are enough trees for them to live now.  she is obesessed with  dinos so we couldn't resist letting her build a mommy and baby one.

 

 

 

later that evening kris and I went on a date night as it would be awhile before we had another one :)

 

 

 

next up - the arrival of baby girl :)

 

 

bags are packed, room is ready....

everything is marked off the checklist... we are ready for the little lady to make her arrival.  if she doesnt come on her own - she'll be getting kicked out on Tuesday...

some final big sister practice

penny was getting some big sister practice in this weekend and helping to feed logan. notice her mouth is open every time she feeds him a bit :)

penny and the neverland pirates...

one of penelope's favorite shows is jake and the neverland pirates.  she just loves it.  and loves making kris draw treasure maps.

 

this morning we decided to take the treasure map daddy drew for her to the park since it was such a nice day.

 

according to penelope it lead us on quite a nice little adventure.  she consulted the map for everything we did :)

 

1.  checking out the map to figure out our plans.

 

 

 

2.  first stop on the map - swings.

 

 

 

 

3.  next stop - slides

 

 

 

4. following the trail through the forest

 

 

 

5. and over the bridge to feed the fish

 

 

6. and eventually we made it to the best part - the treasure (aka snowcones!)
