I've been a little MIA lately so before I do a photo dump want to catch up on my girls!!

Penelope is great - she started pre-k a few weeks ago and loves it!  she is in the big kid class and every month there is a "club" they try to get in. so far she is in the months of the months of the year club (names them all in order), the birthday club (birthday and year) and mostly recently the address club (including zip code). and she was quite proud to be the first one in that club.  :) she has my competitive streak :)  she was sad to leave her old teacher (ms laurie) but all her friends moved with her nad she still spends most days playing with jack and connor.  last night she talked me into a spiderman jacket so she could play with the boys on the playground and shoot webs.  I quote, "you cant'  shoot webs in a pink jacket"  love my little tomboy.

charlotte is awesome - she's 1 now and very much has the 1 year old 'tude. a  few temper tantrums and the fake whining has started - she takes after her sister in the drama dept :) she's still as sweet as can be and is madly in love with daddy and obsessed with Penelope. I'm a distance third place to them!!

charlotte started physical therapy about a month ago. around her first birthday she still wasn't very mobile - would scoot on her butt but didn't pull up, didn't crawl and very far from walking.  she has  she little ankle braces she has been very and along with PT have been helping a lot. in the past 4 weeks she pulls up, crawls, cruises on furniture, climbs stairs and most recently can walk with a push toy... goal is walking by xmas and I think she'll beat that!  she is very good natured about the braces and even the therapy - she works so hard and usually puts her little head down on the floor the last  five minutes because she is so wiped out.  the babysitter gets 4 hour naps those days from little miss charlotte :)  she gets so proud of her accomplishments - it's awesome to see the pride when she pushes the walker, climbs the steps, or pulls up to get a toy that is out of reach :) every milestone is a little more of a struggle for her and that much more of a reward and amazing to see when she hits them.

she is very much a one year old in all ways.. sticks in face in the dog water and eats dog food. tries to stick her finger into outlets and slams every day.  pulls penny's hair and throws her food on the ground and laughs - she's a little spitfire, a huge dare devil and happy little girl :)

some other char milestones:

words: dada, mama, duck, dog, gats, up, nana (banana), what's that, want that, ow, ball
foods: all of them! can use a fork and spoon a little bit
drink: fully on sippy cup, loves straws, no bottle
bed: 2 books, some milk and down - falls asleep on her own - sleeps on belly, butt in the air, 2 fingers in her mouth.  still takes 2 naps a day and a solid 11 hours at night.
toys: loves her ducks, the kitchen toys and anything penny has.

when she falls (which is often) she puts her hand on her head and says "ow" over and over again. no matter what body part she hurt :)  stubbed toe, slammed finger, scratched leg - all equals "ow" and hand on head :)

overall everone is good!  the girls are great and keeping us busy and I have just run out of blog time.  while I have a window I'm going to catch up - sorry fro the photo dump that is about to occur!
