so penelope is NOT a fan of the dr's office. she is however a fan of the drs office waiting room.
loves climbing on the chairs and is overall a happy camper. (and she lvoes her new hat :))
until that door opens and the nurse calls her name.
she immediately gets nervous. turns red, clings to mommy and today yelled "up" - although she was using "up" to mean "get the me hell out of here".
wait through the door... and cue the screaming... screams down the hallway, screams bloddy murder on the scale.
daddy has to get on the scale with penny, then get on by himself, then subtract to figure out penny's weight.
the nurse asked mommy to do this - i politely declined to be weighed in public :)
daddy wins :0
from here.. it only gets worse. lay her on the table to be measured and you would think we were ripping her finger nails off. the kid screams like she is being violently tortured. we swear she i not.
calms down for a bit.. then dr. walks in.

after a LOT of screaming... we finally get our shots and get out. i'm sure the whole office is looking forward to our next appt. :)
15 month stats:
31.8 inches tall (85%)
21 lbs (25%)
17.5 inch head (12%)
all looks good except weight. she seems to have been dropping lbs lately and we noticed that some clothes were getting loose and i was even pulling out some old 6-12 month stuff...
so we are going to keep an eye on that and bring her back in for another appt in 2 weeks to check her weight... and make sure there is not an issue. dr. wasnt worried - since she is a trainwreck tring to be weighed it's hard to tell how reliable those scales really are!!!
enjoy your two weeks of calm and quiet dr. norton and nurse michelle - the screaming lunatic baby will be back soon :)
